2000 Taylor Model 855 12-string

Maker: Taylor

Bought From: Midnight Music

Comments: This is the first 12-string I've owned since I had a "Stella" back in the 60's. It has a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back & sides. The sound it produces is impressive. It isn't exactly easy to play, but I tried a Guild (impossible for me) and a Martin (also impossible for me). Compared to those, this is a breeze. One can also play finger style on it (important to me). The workmanship is impeccable. If I had known more about Taylors when I bought my OM-28, I might have wound up with a Taylor instead.
