Comments: I bought this in April of 2005. Rickenbacker guitars figure very prominently in music from the British invasion, folk rock, and other styles. It's not possible to conceive of the music of The Byrds, for example, without the Rickenbacker 12-string that Roger McGuinn played. They really sound and feel very different from Fenders and Gibsons. People often describe the tone as "jangly".
The workmanship is just amazing. Everything about the guitar is beautifully done. They are totally made in the USA.
