1980 Gibson ES-347 TD

Maker: Gibson

Bought From: Elderly Instruments

Comments: I consider this model to be the most desirable of the semi-hollow's from Gibson, although it never really caught on the way the ES-335 has. I like the more upscale cosmetics and playability of the ebony fingerboard, large MOP block fret markers, lighter sunburst finish, TP6 fine-tuner on the tailpiece, and coil-tap. The workmanship is excellent; this really is quite a beautiful instrument to look at. It has that classic creamy, smooth humbucking sound.
